Mark Weber

2021 JOEFEST TOY & COMIC SHOW is proud to announce Mark Weber as our next guest!
He will be in Augusta, GA June 25-27 2021 for a one of a kind panel discussing G.I. Joe and Transformers.
Stop by his table to get an autograph and meet him!

Mark Weber was a Manager of Global Brand Development on the Transformers franchise at Hasbro. He was chiefly responsible for the Generations and Bot Shots segments, as well as most exclusive products. He later moved to Hasbro's G.I. Joe team. His work can be seen in the 50th Anniversary G.I. Joe line that featured a new character named Stiletto.

Mark graduated with a degree in Broadcasting from Arizona State University and spent eight years as a sports radio producer/anchor. Mark is also a co-host of WOJM: What's On Joe Mind?

Here is some key points on Mr. Weber's career:

Prior to joining Hasbro in February 2012, Mark worked at McFarlane Toys for ten years, overseeing the McFarlane’s Sports Picks brand of action figures while consulting on HALO, The Walking Dead, Spawn, McFarlane’s Dragons, and more.

In 2014, he contributed to the Transformers Experience panel at Universal Studios Hollywood (inducting Arcee and Rodimus into the Transformers Hall of Fame) and led the Hasbro Brand Panel as well.

A lifelong Transformers fan, his personal favorite characters are ProwlSkywarp, and Grimlock.

He's the one who came up with the idea of Megatron becoming an Autobot in Dark Cybertron [1]
